The Memory Bridge Foundation announces Love is Listening… Dementia without Loneliness, a remarkable sequel to There is a Bridge. This beautiful film addresses the central challenge of dementia – the loneliness that comes with communicative and emotional separation from the everyday world. The title suggests how we can surmount this challenge as care partners, friends and neighbors of people living with dementia. I won’t review the award winning film here, but refer readers to the trailer which is found on the Memory Bridge Foundation website. As a member of the board, I am very proud of this accomplishment and in awe of the wonderful work carried on internationally by the founder, Michael Verde.
The film premiered in London in early 2019 and is now available on Amazon Prime Video. A Bloomington, Indiana screening is set for Sept. 6, 2019 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
